White Garden Balsam, botanically named
Impatiens balsamina, also known as touch-me-not, is a classic annual ornamental flower with stable germination rate and good heat resistance. It grows best in full sun to partial shade and loose fertile well-drained loam soil, suitable for spring sowing and summer full bloom.
It bears elegant pure white double flowers that resemble small camellias, with plump layered petals and a neat upright plant shape, adding a fresh and elegant atmosphere to the garden. Its ripe seed pods will pop open when gently touched, which is full of fun.
This flower has strong adaptability with relatively few pest and disease problems. Keep the soil moderately moist during the growing season and avoid long-term water accumulation.
