Salvia is a widely used perennial ornamental flower with stable germination rate and outstanding high temperature resistance. It grows vigorously under full sunlight, requiring loose, breathable and well-drained soil, and is afraid of long-term water accumulation.
The plant sends out upright racemes covered with countless small tubular flowers, mainly in purple, red, pink and blue colors. The flowering season lasts from late spring all the way to frost, with extremely long viewing time. The clumping growth form can form neat colorful strips in the garden.
It has strong ability to resist common diseases and pests, and the maintenance cost is very low. Cutting off faded flower spikes can stimulate repeated flowering. It is commonly used for large-area flower bed mass planting, road border greening, pastoral garden collocation and balcony potted ornamental cultivation.
