Satin flower, also called godetia, is a cool-loving annual ornamental flower with stable germination rate. It prefers full sunlight and loose breathable well-drained soil, and cannot withstand sustained high temperature and hot weather.
The flower petals have unique satin-like luster and delicate texture, with rich colors including pink, red, lavender and two-tone varieties. The plant grows upright with sturdy stems, has a long flowering period in late spring and early summer, and is very suitable for picking as fresh cut flowers.
The plant has strong disease resistance and low daily management difficulty. Timely pruning of faded flowers can promote continuous budding and prolong the viewing period.
