Description
Prepare the planting equipment, select high-quality new seeds, cultivate after soaking and germination, water 2 to 3 times a day during growth, and cover with film to keep warm and control the temperature.
1. Planting equipment
Planting equipment Brick planting troughs 100-120 cm wide and 20 cm deep in a dark, shaded room or protected area. Lay a plastic film over the bottom of the tank and punch holes in the film at intervals to drain excess water. Use vermiculite, perlite, river sand, etc. as matrix.
Second, the selection
Select new seeds with full kernels, bright color, white navel, and germination rate above 95%. Remove the incomplete, broken, insect-eaten bean grains and their impurities, wash them with clean water, rinse the shriveled grains, and wash the seeds.
3. Diffuse planting and germination
Immerse the seeds in clean water at about 20°C for 16-24 hours, and change the water 4 times. After soaking the seeds, wash away the mucus and dirt, wrap them in a damp cloth to promote germination, and the seeds can be cultivated when they are white.
4. Cultivation substrate
The thickness of the cultivation substrate is 10 cm, and the bottom water is poured. Then sown the germinated seeds on it, about 2 kilograms per square meter, and cover the substrate with a thickness of 05 cm. Splash water with a fine-eye watering can, then cover with plastic wrap. Generally do not water before emergence. Two days later, the red bean sprouts were pushed out of the substrate, that is, the film was peeled off.
5. Planting management
The temperature should be kept at 16°C-30°C. Water 2-3 times a day. The water should be poured evenly and thoroughly without stagnant water. Keep the air in the place clean.
6. Harvest
When the height of the red bean sprouts is 15 cm, the first pair of true leaves have not been fully expanded, the tissue is tender and not fibrotic, it can be cut along the base of the stem.
