Description

These premium Baby Cabbage seeds are strictly cleaned and screened to filter out shrunken, broken and immature grains to ensure stable germination. This cool-season brassica vegetable grows compact upright heads wrapped with overlapping green outer leaves and pale tender inner leaves. The small cabbage heads have thin crisp ribs and a delicate sweet taste, without coarse fiber. It matures quickly and forms firm compact heads under proper temperature management. Each packet contains 30 seeds.

Product Advantages Baby Cabbage has good disease resistance and compact plant size, ideal for small garden beds and container growing. It matures faster than standard large Chinese cabbage. The tender heads are versatile for stir-frying, hot pot, boiling and pickling. Pair it with brassica vegetable seeds and cool season vegetable seeds to arrange your autumn vegetable garden.

Growing Method Step 1: Prepare fertile, loose, well-drained soil rich with organic compost, and remove weeds and soil clods. Step 2: Sow seeds thinly on the soil surface, cover lightly with 0.5cm fine soil, mist water gently. Step 3: Keep soil evenly moist, avoid waterlogging which can trigger seed rot or fungal disease. Step 4: When seedlings develop 3 to 4 true leaves, thin or transplant them, leaving 20cm spacing between each plant. Step 5: Water regularly and apply diluted fertilizer to promote leaf growth during head formation. Step 6: Ensure full sunlight; partial shade in hot weather can prevent bolting and leaf bitterness. Step 7: Harvest when small heads become tight and plump, before the plant bolts and sends up flower stalks.

Suitable Climate Baby Cabbage prefers cool weather, optimal growing temperature between 12℃ and 22℃. High temperatures above 25℃ will cause poor head formation and early bolting. It is mainly sown in late summer and autumn. It tolerates light frost.

Applications Perfect for backyard home gardens and farm field planting. Baby cabbage heads are widely used for hot pot, stir-fry, soup cooking and quick pickling, a popular fresh table vegetable in Asian cuisine.
